90 Minute Workshop Series
Systemic Stabilisation of The System Around the Child and Young People Experiencing Trauma
When exploring the internal world of the child or young person that has experienced trauma, often we are met with fragmentation and disfunction through adaptations that the child has needed to make to survive this original situation and experiences. Sadly dysregulation, minimization, denial and anger are often common place at the beginning of the therapeutic journey.
This workshop recognises the parallel processes outside the room in the support network around the child, that may mirror the internal world of the child. Exploration will take place around how we stabilize the network including parents, teachers and schools, social workers and other people that are involved in creating the team around the child or young person.
