90 Minute Workshop Series
Trauma-informed & trauma-responsive organisational change
This workshop is an opportunity to learn further about what is meaningful whole- system wide trauma-informed & trauma-responsive practice at an organisational level; & to reflect as to why these are important, & beneficial to everyone. Including how we can recognise & respond to the pervasive & widespread impact of trauma; whilst proactively finding ways to avoid re-traumatisation through our systems &practices.
Dr Treisman will also draw on her recent Winston Churchill Fellowship which included visiting over 70 organisations & 150 people in America to learn about best practice in trauma-informed organisations.; as well as giving tangible examples & case studies. This workshop includes considering areas across the whole organisation such as recruitment & induction, through to procedures & policies, through to the physical environment, through to self-care & staff wellbeing, through to cultural humility & responsiveness & so forth.
